Who can get temporary car insurance?
Anyone aged 19-75 with a valid UK or EU driving licence held for at least 1 year. You must have no more than 6 penalty points and no driving bans in the last 5 years.
What cars can be insured?
Most cars valued under £65,000 can be insured. This includes cars owned by friends, family, or hire vehicles. The car must be registered in the UK and have a valid MOT (if over 3 years old).
How long does cover last?
You can choose cover from 1 hour up to 28 days. If you need longer cover, please contact us to discuss annual policy options.
Will this affect my main policy?
No. Our temporary policies are completely separate from any annual insurance you may have. Any claims made will not affect your no claims discount on your main policy.
